Pinter Unveils the Pinter 3: A Promising Update
The company behind the smart fresh beer device, Pinter, has announced the Pinter 3. This new model follows the short lifespan of the Pinter 2, which faced pressure issues and tap-related problems leading to a product recall.
What’s New with the Pinter 3?
The Pinter 3 brings several improvements over its predecessor:
- It weighs 45% less than the Pinter 2.
- New feet on the end and base, with one removable for releasing trapped liquid.
- Three color options: deep grey, electric blue, and rich red.
The dock has been updated for easier attachment, and old docks can be recycled into new ones, a sustainable option we appreciate. Most notably, the problematic tap has been addressed with an improved version that no longer uses awkward-to-clean coils.
Compatibility and Pricing
The new tap will be sold separately for £29.99 and is compatible with the Pinter 2, offering a welcome upgrade for existing users.
The Pinter 3 bundle (device, dock, and tap) will retail for £99, or £69 for a co-pinter. This marks a price reduction from the current Pinter 2, which starts at £129.99.
Release Date
Pinter has not yet announced a release date for the Pinter 3 or the new tap. However, with Pinter 2 sales on hold, we expect it to be soon. We’ll update this post once we have more information.
Summary
The Pinter 3 addresses many of the issues users faced with the Pinter 2. While we’re excited about these improvements, we look forward to reviewing the final product before making any conclusions. Keep an eye out for our upcoming review!
