Unboxing an Unexpected Surprise

A couple of months ago, HyperJuice sent me their 2-in-1 and 3-in-1 Qi2 chargers to review—both of which I was really impressed with. You can find those reviews on my channel, and I’ll link them below.

Then, out of nowhere, a package arrived at my door containing their 4-in-1 charger. I wasn’t expecting it, but I was definitely excited to test it out.

Design & Build Quality

This charging stand costs around $160, so it’s not exactly cheap, but that price is reflected in its premium build quality.

The base is white with rounded edges and features an indicator light. Around the back, you’ll find both a power port and a USB-C port, giving you two options for powering the device. You can either use your own USB-C cable and a power bank or plug in the included power adapter for mains power.

Rising from the base is a foldable silver metal stand with an adjustable magnetic charging pad and a non-adjustable Apple Watch charger. Back on the base, there’s another Qi charging pad and a dedicated spot for AirPods.

When folded down, the charger becomes quite slim, making it technically travel-friendly. However, with a weight of 643g, you might not want to carry it around too often. That said, the weight is actually a good thing—it ensures the stand remains stable and doesn’t wobble when you remove your phone, making it perfect for a bedside table or desk setup.

Charging Performance & Specs

The included power adapter allows you to charge up to four devices simultaneously. If you opt to power it via USB-C instead, you’ll need at least a 45W power adapter to charge four devices at once.

Here’s a breakdown of the charging speeds:

  • Magnetic Qi2 charging pad: Up to 15W for compatible devices (e.g., iPhone)
  • Secondary Qi pad: Up to 10W
  • Apple Watch charger: Up to 5W (Made for Apple Watch certified)
  • AirPods charging pad: Up to 5W

It also comes with a 2-year warranty, which is a nice bonus.

Daily Use & Experience

For the past two weeks, I’ve been using the HyperJuice 4-in-1 charger as my bedside charging station while moving the 3-in-1 to my office desk. It’s been used every day, and I can confirm that it works seamlessly when charging three devices at once. I haven’t tested charging four devices, as I don’t have a second phone with wireless charging, but I imagine it would perform just as well.

The MagSafe connection is strong, making it easy to snap my iPhone onto the charger, and I love that it can be positioned in both portrait or landscape mode. The weighted base makes it easy to remove my phone without the whole stand shifting around.

Charging speeds are solid, and it’s great to have the flexibility of using the included power adapter or a USB-C power source of my own.

What Could Be Improved?

There’s not much to dislike about this charger, but if I had to nitpick, I’d say:

  • I wish the Apple Watch charger was adjustable. This would make folding the charger down even more convenient.
  • While it folds down fairly flat, the weight makes it slightly less travel-friendly compared to the 3-in-1 model.

Final Verdict

Much like their 2-in-1 and 3-in-1 models, HyperJuice has created a well-made, reliable, and stylish charger that folds down compactly while still offering great performance.

Yes, the $160 price tag is on the higher side, but in my experience, cheap chargers often charge slower and don’t last long. If you’re looking for a premium charging stand that does it all, this is probably worth the investment.
