Can You Use the Aqara H2 EU with Smart Bulbs?
I’ve been getting a lot of questions about whether you can use the new UK compatible smart switch from Aqara, specifically the H2 EU, with smart bulbs. Today, we’re going to find out.
First Impressions
The H2 EU is a great looking switch, very modern and sleek. It’s smaller than I expected, which is a plus for those who want to keep their wall clutter-free.
Setup Process
The setup process was pretty straightforward. You just need to wire it up, connect to your Wi-Fi via the Aqara app, and you’re good to go. It supports both 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks.
Compatibility with Smart Bulbs
Now, let’s talk about smart bulbs. I tested it with the Philips Hue White Ambiance bulb and the Xiaomi Mi LED Smart Bulb. Both worked perfectly fine.
- With the Hue bulb, you can control brightness using the switch itself or through the Aqara app.
