UPDATE: According to Habi the wireless receiver that creates the thread border router uses channel 12 which means there was probably a clash going on wirh my network however, in using and regiewing a lot of smart home producta I’ve never had this issue. I did also find that connecting a TRV straight to Apple Home worked fine but it then can’t call for heat, i also discovered that when doing this the pairing mode in Apple Home doesnt work!
