In this review of the Langsdom AirNova Smart Sports Audio Sunglasses, I’ll be taking a detailed look at the design, features, specifications, and real-world performance of these smart sports glasses. I was sent a pair by Langsdom to test out, but this review is not sponsored — all opinions are my own.

Price and Options

The Langsdom AirNova Smart Sports Audio Sunglasses retail for $99. They are available with a choice of lenses in black, red, or blue. I opted for the black lenses, which I think look the best and offer a sleek, modern appearance.

Design and Build Quality

These sunglasses feature a matte black frame with the Langsdom logo on the front. The arms are slightly chunkier than standard sunglasses, but this is necessary to house the built-in speakers and battery. On the right arm, you’ll find a covered USB-C charging port and a multifunction button.

The Langsdom AirNova Smart Sports Audio Sunglasses also come with thoughtful extras: a soft and hard carry case, an adapter for prescription lenses, interchangeable nose pads for added comfort, and a USB charging cable.

Pairing is straightforward: hold down the button to enter pairing mode, then connect via Bluetooth settings on your phone. Once paired, you can use any music or podcast app of your choice.

Comfort and Fit

The Langsdom AirNova Smart Sports Audio Sunglasses are lightweight and comfortable. During runs they’ve stayed firmly in place, even when sweaty. They don’t rub on the nose or ears, making them a comfortable everyday option as well as sports sunglasses.

Performance and Battery Life

Battery life lives up to the advertised 10 hours, which is impressive for sports eyewear. Call quality is serviceable, though not as clear as premium earbuds like AirPods Pro. Controls for playback, skipping, and calls are responsive and the multifunction button feels tactile and reliable.

Sound Quality

Here’s where things get mixed. For podcasts, the Langsdom AirNova Smart Sports Audio Sunglasses perform well — the sound is clear and loud enough to hear over background noise while running or cycling.

For music, however, performance is disappointing. Bass and distorted guitars sound muddy, and overall audio feels like listening through a tinny speaker. I also experienced the right speaker cutting out once due to sweat, which caused some temporary crackling until it dried. Additionally, there is noticeable sound leakage, so they aren’t ideal for quiet social settings like cafés or beer gardens.

Final Verdict

As sunglasses, the Langsdom AirNova Smart Sports Audio Sunglasses are excellent — comfortable, stylish, and well-suited for sports use. If you primarily want them for podcasts or audiobooks while running or cycling, they work very well and keep your ears open to surrounding sounds for safety.

However, if you’re planning to use them mainly for music, they fall short compared to alternatives like AirPods Pro or bone conduction headphones. I’ll be keeping these for running as sunglasses and podcast listening, but for music I’ll stick with my usual earphones.

1By One are a company making budget devices and one of their products are the 1By One Smart Body scales. These fit into the ever growing market of bluetooth scales.

These scales cost around £21 from Amazon with a choice of black or white. In my opinion they look pretty smart with their rounded edges. They’re also incredibly light. The top of them has resistant tempered glass and can take a weight of up to 180kg.

The scales are powered by 3 triple A batteries which even come in the box.

Standing on them causes them to act like a normal pair of scales and they tell you your weight in Kg or Lbs. You can choose which using the button on the base of the scales. It’s a shame there’s not a stone option but never mind!

However, using them with the 1byOne health app is where they really come into their own.

Once you’ve initially connected the scales in the 1byOne Health app all you need to do is open the app when you’re near the scales (and on them) and they automatically connect and show you your results. This app happens pretty instantly and the app shows some really useful information too.

It shows you your weight (you can choose whether you want it in KG, stone or Lbs) and your BMI at the top (calculated from your height data which you added when you set up your profile)

They also use the sensors on the device to calculate:

• Percentage body fat
• Visceral Fat
• Percentage body water
• Bone mass
• Basel Metabolic rate

I can’t comment on how accurate they are as I’ve no other way to test it although the results are the same as my previous scales.

Tapping onto these pieces of data give you a handy scale to help you understand whether this is healthy or not.

The app also lets you track your data over time and you can set reminders to step on the scales. Other features let you weight a baby and add extra users to track the whole family!

Finally, you can also sync your data with a variety of other apps including Fitbit, Apple health and Google fit. This is great because it enables you to keep all your health data in one place, it even sends all those metrics across automatically once you’ve set it up.

All in all, for an incredibly reasonable price these scales look good, connect easily and seamlessly sync with other apps. If you’re looking for some connected scales on a budget then be sure to check these out.
